Blithe Spirit

Blithe Spirit

Performed at the University of North Carolina Wilmington 2025

Written in 1941, Blithe Spirit remained the longest-running comedy in British Theatre for three decades. Blithe Spirit is a tug-of-love comedy with a difference: one of the lovers is a ghost. Novelist Charles, hoping to gather material for his next book, asks Madame Arcati (one of the great characters in all of theatre) to conduct a séance in his house. It works too well: his first wife returns from the other side, with predictably disastrous results for his second marriage.

Romeo & Juliet

Romeo & Juliet

Performed at the University of North Carolina Wilmington 2025

“Two households both alike in dignity, In fair Verona, where we lay our scene. From forth the fatal loins of these two foes, A pair of star-cross’d lovers take their life.” Ripped apart by the bitter divisions of their parents, two young people will risk everything to be together. The most famous story of love at first sight explodes with intense passion and an irresistible desire for change. Will this spark a revolution or will division continue to tear through generations?

This rendition of Romeo and Juliet takes on a punk rock aesthetic with music driven elements.

Head Over Heels is the bold new musical comedy from the visionaries that rocked Broadway with Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Avenue Q and Spring Awakening. This laugh-out-loud love story is set to the music of the iconic 1980’s all-female rock band the Go-Go’s, including the hit songs, “We Got the Beat,” “Our Lips Are Sealed,” “Vacation,” Belinda Carlisle’s “Heaven is a Place on Earth,” and “Mad About You.”

A hilarious, exuberant celebration of love, Head Over Heels follows the escapades of a royal family on an outrageous journey to save their beloved kingdom from extinction – only to discover the key to their realm’s survival lies within each of their own hearts.
