With this being my thesis, I have included a few image research samples as well as a sample of my renderings and lighting paperwork. Please see the "A Little Night Music" section under the design gallery for more images.

For this project, I developed a set of drafting’s that resembled a Thorne Room miniature model of a historic Virginian dining room from Alexandria, Virginia. The drafting package in total featured five plates that included a section, a ground plan, elevations, fireplace and wall decorative details, and a molding details page.

A sample of a scenic drafting package featuring the ground plan of a theoretical scenic design for Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night. The play was set in a Baroque era garden to heighten the sense of love and romance and how that it is so rooted in us like the nature surrounding us. The tailored garden served to give the director and actors plenty of space to explore the scenes and their characters, keeping in line with the theme, while also including the architectural building to allow for varying playing levels, comedic entrance and exit moments, as well as creating a sense of grandeur for the villa

Throughout my design education, I have experimented in different mediums for conveying personal art as well as painting techniques that can assist with scenic painting. 

Utilizing photoshop, I created costume renderings for the theoretical design of Clybourne Park. In this project I was focused on utilizing a collaging style to help convey the choices of fabrics and how they would visually sit on the characters.

For this theoretical project, I used vactorworks to construct a 3D model of a set, applied the textures to the various scenic elements, and then imported the design into capture. I wished to utilized light with angle, color, texture, and intensity to acheive different moods and classic looks ranging from love to film noir to a galaxy far far away.
